"Helps venturing into the video store make sense!"
San Jose Mercury News

We all go to the video store to rent entertainment. But far too often we end up renting crap. When the "New Releases" shelf is bare, we find ourselves standing in a store full of films — but with no idea what's worth renting. It's like being blindfolded at a buffet: If we grab something at random, are we going to get paté...or the dog's brunch? The solution is Killer B's, a selection of buried treasures on tape designed to revive (and delight) even the most jaundiced and jaded video viewer.

"Killer B's" are second-run — but not second-rate — films. They're the movies you feel compelled to recommend to your friends — movies that make you feel like you "discovered" them. They're overlooked, underappreciated films that deserve a second chance — and receive it on video. They're the movies you'll want to rent when you can't find what you went to rent.

"Buried treasures" abound on video: Great little films that got buried by the blockbusters, but which are every bit as entertaining as first-run releases. Killer B's collects 237 such general-interest titles -- every one a recommended rental! Killer B's features movies mostly produced since 1980 (plus a few timeless classics), and includes all the best-known genres, as well as complete plot synopses (but no "spoilers"); full-length, in-depth film reviews; suggestions for similar films; trivia; and even dissenting opinions from well-known critics.

Don't get stung by imitators — put Killer B's to work for you, and you'll never leave a video store without a terrific film!
