The Impermanent Press: The Website
This site was designed and developed by Gaird Schlesinger, principal at San Francisco's Fogworks Internet Agency. He designed, produced, and illustrated the whole thing.
Gaird is a designer and web developer with over 18 years of professional experience. In addition to his creative graphics abilities, he has extensive background in managing and designing projects, from database driven websites to ecommerce and site makeovers. He also has a talented network of professionals he calls upon, to offer a full complement of creative and technical expertise to any project.
Fogworks is available for website project management, design and graphics. Feel free to check out their work at www.fogworks.com.
John Voss (voss@metalstorm.com) is lead technical consultant for this site. John is currently the webmaster for a fortune 500 company. During his infrequent breaks from the bleeding edge, John has had the occasion to grace us with his awesome technical prowess and vast knowledge.
D. Scott Apel. (the only man on PBS who can't spell "PBS") describes himself as "the world's most prolific unpublished novelist," and is the author of two previous non-fiction works, All Works and No Plays, and Mein Summer Kampf. He alleges to be the inventor of "virtual harsh reality," a graduate of Murphy's Law School and a former gift horse orthodontist. Although he is not the dumbest man on the planet, Mr. Apel claims he "can see him in line from here." And while his writing, publishing, playwrighting, television, video and film acting work have not elevated him to the status of cult figure, hehas become a cult figurine.
